Congratulations to Veitacini on their win in the Final over the Cougars 19-14. A great game with the half time score at 7 all made for a thrilling final half. With time against the Cougars and with Cougars pressing the Veitacini goal line the Veitacini team was able to defend and hold on for a well deserved victory.
 
Feedback indicates that it was a great day and the Casuarina RUFC would like to thank all those teams that participated in the event. It was extremely hot however, at the same time it is a great lead up to what can be expected from the Hottest 7's in the comming week.

The Club would also like to thank all the volunteers that helped out on day and all the referees that gave up their time to make the event successful.

A special mention to Swampdogs who brought out a young team who never gave up in any of the matches they played and won the hearts of the crowd, well done to Swampdogs!
