Casuarina Cougars have the distinct honour of receiving a standing invitation to compete at the Singapore Cricket Club Sevens every year. This honour came about when the Cougars were invited to participate in the 1983 tournament to which the Club won by a record 163-0 over the whole tournament. This is a record that to this date has not been met or surpassed by any team contesting the Singapore 7's.

The Singapore Sevens is now a real calendar event for Rugby teams and Rugby Nations throughout the world and is fast becoming known as one of the best Sevens tournaments in the world. This year will see South Africa and Scotland again bring their national sides along with many other national Asian sides.

Thanks to some heavy sponsorship the Cougars this year will be taking their best form side over to Singapore with each player only requiring $200 for the week long trip including all flights and accommodation. The tour will be leaving Wednesday night 4th November and arriving back home Wednesday 11th November. The tour will include watching the Singapore Cricket Clb vs Palmyra game on the Tuesday.
